When I shot this video, I was the last guest through the maze for the night (sprinted from the Lore of the Vampire exit as they were about to sound the "amusement area is now closed" announcement and got through Red Beard's front gates just as they were shutting them). Although there were a few disappointments on this visit, such as the movement of the talking skull out front being broken, the cannon not shooting the cool "smoke" rings, and a few notable maze positions (like the jail and the bungee platform) being unmanned, the monsters made up for it by being even more goofy and amusing than usual due to it being closing time. Also, I think the cool skeleton and treasure display on the waterfall outside the maze entrace was new this year.
Although I wasn't surprised that 2007 was the last year for this maze, I was sad to see it go, as I'm a pirate fan and it was always fun.
