Well, there are examples of my prose all over my web site, of course (e.g. in Concert Reviews and Movie Reviews), as well as all over the Internet.
Here's a "Dan
Harkless" Google search. Though I'm not the only Dan Harkless with
Internet access, I'm certainly the most active one, so the vast majority of
those results were written by me or are somebody quoting me or referring to
me. Notably, I'm not Dan Harkless the soft-core porn
writer/producer and nude photographer.
A few pages that Google indexes mention "Daniel Harkless", but last I checked, only the Shonen Knife interview was me (the others being various Daniel Harklesses on genealogy pages), and since none of the questions I asked during that interview made it into that very abridged transcription (which was intended for KUCI's print newsletter), I really shouldn't be including a link to this search on "Dan Harkless' Prose" (it's just that this page sort of doubles as "links to me on the web").
Google and other search engines currently miss some or all of my posts to discussion boards like the ones on pdaPhoneHome.com, TiVoCommunity.com, and TreoCentral.com. The preceding links used to pull up lists of my posts on those boards, but all three sites are now dead, and archive.org doesn't have copies of those search URLs.
And of course the king of all discussion boards was Usenet, where I wrote
thousands of posts over the years before the WWW unfortunately Balkanized
Internet discussions into hundreds of thousands of individual forum sites
that come and go, and which each have their own registration requirements,
and their own rules, often with harmful policies like not being able to
respond with an answer to an old unanswered question, even when that thread
is the top (or only) Google result for a given topic. And of course
due to spam becoming rampant on all the non-moderated Usenet newsgroups,
people finding web forums more user-friendly and in some cases more
featureful than Usenet news readers (or Deja News / Google
Groups), some people preferring to discuss things only with specific
groups of shared-interest peers, and the average Internet user simply no
longer knowing about Usenet, almost everyone stopped using it. R.I.P.
In any case, here's an author:Dan OR author:Daniel author:Harkless Google Groups
search. As far as I know I'm the only Dan[iel] Harkless who's ever
posted to Usenet, so all those results should be things I've written.
[NOTE: Google broke Groups searches like this (again) around the beginning of
2015, and has shown no interest in fixing them, so that search link
returns no results at the moment.
